This little project combines the beautiful sky in North Carolina and a piece I wrote for my daughter one quiet night months later.
The gravity of your little moon face pulls me in.
I am lost with the stars.
Drifting in your orbit
My eyes adjust to the darkness. They close.
We are isolated, we are alone.
Just two happy little stones.
Everyone can spin around us
While you and I dance together,
You a ball of beauty, me twirling around you.
And I bask in your glow.
